Dispute resolution is the process of resolving disputes between parties.

Methods

Methods of dispute resolution include:

One could theoretically include violence or even war as part of this spectrum, but dispute resolution practitioners do not usually do so; violence rarely ends disputes effectively, and indeed, often only escalates them. Some individuals, notably Joseph Stalin, have stated that all problems emanate from man, and absent man, no problems ensue. Hence, violence could theoretically end disputes, but alongside it, life.

Dispute resolution processes fall into two major types:

  1. Adjudicative processes, such as litigation or arbitration, in which a judge, jury or arbitrator determines the outcome.
  2. Consensual processes, such as collaborative law, mediation, conciliation, or negotiation, in which the parties attempt to reach agreement.

Not all disputes, even those in which skilled intervention occurs, end in resolution. Such intractable disputes form a special area in dispute resolution studies.

If it was another site and you paid through Pay-Pal: Go here and click on Report Problem: https://www.paypal.com/us /cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_comp laint-view p.s If a ebay purchase Make sure any contact you do or have with the seller is through ebay not regular emails. How dose a dispute resolution agreement affect me?
Q. How dose a dispute resolution agreement affect me?

A. Hopefully, not at all. I would have to know the specific wording, but generally I understand this to mean that if there is a conflict between you and the seller/buyer before closing, you agree to go to a third party mediator to resolve the conflict before taking legal action (lawsuit, etc.) Basically, as long as everything unfolds the way it is supposed to, this won't affect you. My advice would be to call your realtor, he/she should be happy to explain it in more detail and answer any other questions you have.

What laws & who regulates cellular subscriber agreements, particlarly dispute resolution for early termination
Q. I recently switched from Sprint PCS to another carrier. I was with Sprint for 4 years. After I switched, Sprint claims that I owe them $150 for early termination and that recently I renewed my agreement (not true). I sent them a letter telling them I disputed the charge and paid the airtime charge less the penalty on the last bill. They now are threatening to report to the credit agencies. I have heard that there is some regulations or agency rules (i.e. FCC or FTC) that require a company to respond to disputes in a certain time. It has been three months since my letter requesting proof of renewing my contract. what laws or agencies control how dispute resolution for cell phone companies should work?
