What happens if the oppposing lawyer doesn't show up at court for a motion to compel mediation and discovery?
Q. My lawyer and case is in another state and my lawyer has not been answering any of my phone calls. I know that she has been ill in and out of the hospital. I live in another state and found out today that I have court tomorrow for motion to compel mediation and discovery. She is handling my case. I have no clue if she knows of the court date or not. What happens if she doesn't show up?
